Chinese airlines moving to Myanmar
(Memo) 今まではロヒンギャの問題しか扱っていませんでしたが、本日はミャンマーのトピックを。日本人の方々にはなじみのあまりない国かもしれませんが、地理的にはタイのすぐそばにあり、アクセスは比較的良いです。ノーベル平和賞を受賞した、アウンサンスーチーさんが事実上政権を取っていますが、軍が非常に力を持っている国で、国のあらゆる中枢を軍が握っている国でもあります。したがって、国家レベルでは、日本が支援をしていたりしますが、なかなか我々の耳に情報が入ってこないのは政治的に混沌とした状況が続いているのが大きな要因になっています。
More Chinese airlines are moving to Myanmar, with more planes flying to new destinations since the end of last year, according to Yangon International Airport.
ヤンゴン国際空港によると、昨年末から新たな目的地に多くの飛行機を飛行させるために、中国の多くの航空会社がミャンマーに移動している。
On Tuesday, China Eastern Airlines launched a direct Shanghai-Yangon flight using Airbus 320 aircraft. The route offers flights from Yangon International Airport three times a week.
火曜日に、中国東方航空が、エアバス320機を使用した、上海-ヤンゴン間の直行便を開始した。そのルートは1週間に3回ヤンゴン国際空港からのフライトが提供される。
It is China Eastern Airlines’ ninth route connecting China and Myanmar, making it the airline with the most flights between the two countries, and it expects to transport around 360,000 passengers on those flights in 2019, the airline said.
中国東方航空は、2国間に最も多くのフライトを実現するため、中国とミャンマーに9つのルートをつなげようとしており、それは、2019年のフライトで、36万人を運ぶことを予想している。と、航空会社は述べた。
China began wooing Myanmar travellers after the country relaxed visa requirements for Japanese, South Korean and Chinese tourists last September. Since then, China has increased the number of flights to Myanmar, and tourism between the two countries has expanded.

‘’More Chinese guys are coming to Myanmar. Now you can see daily Chinese flights at Yangon Airport,’’ said U Kyaw Zayyar, a tourist guide.

At the end of last year, Chinese airlines 9Air, Sichuan Airlines, China Eastern, Hainan, increased their flights from Yangon and Mandalay to Wuhan, Sichuan, Shanghai, Xi’an, Chengdu, and other Chinese cities. Now there are about 10 Chinese airlines operating at Yangon Airport.
昨年末、 Chinese airlines 9Air, Sichuan Airlines, China Eastern, Hainanが、ヤンゴンからウーハン、シチュアン、シャンハイ、シーアン、チェンドゥや、他の都市へのフライトを増便した。現在、ヤンゴン空港では10個の中国の航空会社が稼働している。
More than 3.5 million tourists visited Myanmar in 2018, 40 percent of whom came from China. Some 650,000 Chinese visitors arrived in the first four months of 2019, an increase of 30pc from the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism.
ミャンマーの国土交通省によると、350万人以上の旅行者が2018年にミャンマーを訪れ、40%が中国からであった。65万人の中国の旅行者が2019年の四半年度に訪れ、昨年比で30%の増加であるという。
