Mickey & Donald sell satay, roti canai in Disney animated series
Disney is serving up some local fare in its latest animated short series, Mickey Go Local.

The South-East Asia division of the American media giant is releasing a six-episode series, each spanning two minutes, which features Singapore and Malaysia’s food, traditional clothes and architecture.
アメリカのメディア大手の東南アジア部門は6つのエピソードをリリースしており、それぞれの長さは2分ほどで、シンガポールとマレーシアの伝統的衣装や建築に焦点を当てている。
Its first episode, Master Hawker, sees Mickey making and selling satay and Donald Duck tossing the roti canai in the air at a hawker street. When Goofy passes by, the street vendors pull out all the stops to impress him.

Another milestone will be recorded in the nations’ broadcast industry today with the announcement of the gradual shutdown of analogue television to allow consumers to fully switch to MyFreeview digital services.

Cops crack down on Khao San crime
Plans are afoot to not only renovate Khao San Road but also rid it of its image as a hub for petty crime by foreign nationals, according to local police.
