                                           (Particles じょし jyoshi 助詞)

 

 

  1. を(wo)・・・を is pronounced as お(wo) and placed after objects. In Japanese, the sentence order should be like this: Topic + Subject + Object + Verb. Although omissions may cause confusion, the basic order will remain the same.

 

e.g.,   わたし(は/が)        ほんを       よみます。  (watashi wa hon wo yomimasu)

  {Topic/Subject}   Direct Object       Verb

                         I            book            read

                                  I read book.

 

 

 

     わたし(は/が)             いえを     でます。  (watashi wa ie wo demasu.)

      {Topic/Subject}    Location to Leave     Verb

                  I                     (my) house        leave

                                I leave my house.

 

 

 

    わたし(は/が)       かいだんを  のぼります。 (watashi wa kaidan wo noborimasu)

         {Topic/Subject}    Location to pass     Verb

                      I               (the) stairs           go up

                                  I go up the stairs.

 

 

 

      わたし(は/が)        みぎを       むきます。 (watashi wa migi wo mukimasu)

      {Topic/Subject}    Direction of Action      Verb

              I                    the right              turn

                                     I turn the right.
