* What V + S? → S wa nani(what) wo V? (*wa, wo is particles)

1. What is this? → Kore(this) wa nani(what)? (これはなに?)
2. What is that? → Are(that) wa nani? (あれはなに?)
3. What do you do? → Anata(you) wa nani(what) wo shimasu(do) ka? (あなたはなにをしますか?)
4. What is your name? → Anata no namae(name) wa nan(what) desu ka? (あなたのなまえはなんですか?)
